Scattered info about the house history. The former Schwarzenberg Gamekeeper´s Lodge has been standing at the foot of Mount Kleť for over 300 years. It had been a residence of foresters taking care of the surrounding forests for many years. The very first written record of the estate dates back to 1738. After the reconstruction in the second half of the 19th century, the mansion also became a place where members of the Schwarzenberg Family, who owned the entire Krumlov estate, stayed during the autumn hunts. The drawing plans of that time show individual rooms reserved for Her and His Royal Highness and testify to the fact that the Prince and Princess themselves visited the forest house. The original wall stencil painting also dates from that time and has been carefully restored by us, like the entire building.

All the apartments feature a fully-equipped kitchen with a hob, an oven, a microwave, a kettle, a fridge as well as dishwasher. Would you like to have a barbecue? No problem. We can prepare everything you need, such as BBQ facilities, skewers, meat, sausages, vegetables and bread. We offer the same service for breakfast.
